County Field Championships

Noak Hill Archers at ECAA 59th County & 40th Open Field Championship

24 Marked Target (WRS {Arrowhead} UKRS)

Panther Bowhunters, Bakers Ln, Chelmsford, Essex.

Some of the Noak hill archers usually found on the target range went along to the Essex county archery association 59th annual fita field shoot.

The weather was lovely and the field was varied with archers from all over the county and further shooting numerous bowstyles.

Well as we are becoming more accustomed to the Noak Hill archers made a great showing

With the following results

Andrew Lock won the gold for the U18 recurve

Sharon Lawrence won the ladies Barebow,(don’t get too excited Dennis she only shoots this event barebow)

Mark Lawrence won the men’s longbow and got the trophy for highest longbow on the day.

Brian Lock although just outside the medals put in a great performance.

So come along if there are any other target archers out there this is a good shoot to give you a taste of field archery.

Lets hope we can get more there next year
