Noak Hill Albion League End of Season Placing

So after a division winning performance in 2017 the Noak Hill Recurve team were promoted to Division 2 for the 2018 season. We entered that start of the season with the knowledge that all matches would be hard fought and points would mean prizes.

I am pleased to say that the Noak Hill Team acquitted themselves extremely well and after a very close first match against Colchester Archers which we lost by 49 points the team then went on a run that was undefeated against the other teams in the league, Oakfield, West Essec and Mayflower.

We finally ended the season second to Colchester Archers in a close fought run in to the end of the season.

Well done to all the Noak Hill Archers with some impressive scores throughout the season from, Glenn Rodgers, Keith Willet, Allan Horne, Andrew Lock and Graham Bridge in the last match with an impressive 848 (i think) after not being well enough to shoot through much of the season and this just showed how much we missed his consistent 800+ scores.

We are looking forward to a second season in the Albion leagues in 2019 and will all be working hard to drive our scores up and challenge to finish in first place next year.
