Worshipful Company of Fletchers Day Out April 26th 2018

Noak Hill Archers were pleased to welcome back the Worshipful Company of Fletchers and their guests for their day of shooting and fun at the Noak Hill Archery club.

Dennis and the team at Noak Hill had worked hard to make the field course challenging and the archery a fun experience for all who took part and we think we achieved the aim of the day for all attendees.

After a morning session of warm up and practice the competition started with a number of 3 arrow ends on the target range which allowed the archers to find their range and start to accumulate the much need points to support their efforts when they moved to the field range and the second part of the shoot (on Dennis's fiendishly difficult field course).

After a successful morning of target shooting and a break for lunch everyone was ready to move to the field course and start to really put their varying levels of experience to the test for both the 3d targets which were set out and the very changeable weather that was set to plague the afternoon with heavy showers and sunshine none of which dampened the enthusiasm or determination of the archers (well done to you all).

We all were very impressed with the levels of archery seen and improvements from the morning session and the competition was a close run thing with a number of the archers in contention.

We have a selection of Photos from the day on the Gallery page so please do look through them and see if you can find yourself.

We hope you all enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you back soon.

Kind Regards

Dennis and the team at Noak Hill Archers
